It is also revealed that Ogre saved Robin's life after he was attacked by Maria, by giving him medicine. Ogre tells him that he enjoys watching the actions of lunatics, but that good people like Robin are also necessary to let the lunatics of the world flourish. Robin leaves and wanders the house, where he meets Ogre and sees his twisted nature, realizing that he isn't human. Robin responds that it's his fate to disappear, and asks Maria to take care of Aya, as that is her fate and Monika's wish. She expressed her regret that she can't stop Robin from disappearing when the curse fades. Maria commented that Robin seems more alive than the other corpses, and apologized for throwing knives at him earlier. Robin continues to explain he must now set fire to the mansion to get rid of any traces of her father's work to prevent the tragedy from happening again, and asks Aya to remember her father's victims since their existence would be forgotten otherwise. He tells Aya to not be sad, because her mother is watching over her. Later in the story, before Aya and Maria are preparing to leave, Robin says Aya has no need to thank him and reveals it was her mother who had sent him to make sure she wasn't hurt and says he had no intention to be injured or to have scared her earlier. Robin saves them by incapacitating Alfred just in the nick of time.

After Maria fails to kill Alfred by throwing multiple knives at him when he tried to kill Aya, he gets up and tries to kill them both. He is not seen again until one of the endings. He agreed, as the memory ends there and Aya continues on her path towards rescuing her father. He did survive this experiment, thanks to Monika's ghost, and instructed him to take care of her daughter. Unfortunately, he would become a experiment for Alfred thus why his eye is missing and face is disfigured.

However, he came to grow protective over Aya as he saw that she held similarities towards his sister. As Robin walks away after that encounter, he remarks that it's ridiculous for Alfred to think that Aya could replace his little sister. Afterwards, he was hired by Alfred who told him to think of the household as his family, and that Aya would be his new sister. Prior to working at the Drevis mansion, his parents and younger sister passed away in an accident. In the remake, Aya touches him after he passes out which reveals a little bit of his backstory. After that, Maria appears and throws knives at him. After she wakes up, he tries to convince her to escape from the mansion, which she refuses. Later on, after she was almost choked by a subject, Aya faints and Robin takes her out of the room. His intentions seem to be good when she first meets him offering to help her by showing her the way, but Aya is shocked when she realizes half his face has been horribly burned and runs away, terrified. Robin, also known as the " Blonde Boy" (金髪の少年 Kinpatsu no Shonen), is a seemingly undead boy that Aya encounters in the mansion.
